“This is not a drill”.

This body of work initiated as a collaborative artistic and research process with the Students of Salve Regina University Dance Department.

“ARts for Social Action”.

This course was developed by Melody Gamba in collaboration with Nycole Marvelous (Executive Director at Newport Art House), and Jy-Tique Harris (Omega Art) at Salve Regina University to create innovative opportunities through artistic modalities for community, civic, and social engagement. Students will sharpen their artistic voice for social change alongside the long-term goal of incubating the next generation of socially engaged community members.

“Identity Movement Project”.

A creative arts residency that blends arts-based inquiry and self- reflection that invites participants to examine their identity, artistic voice, and what they stand for within the classroom and as a member of their larger community. Participants will create a movement narrative crystallizing their own identity and artistic voice, and the seeds they plan to plant in the future.
